I have long wanted to tie a fashionable string bag.
- Firstly, this type of bag is in trend.
- Secondly, due to plastic bag laws.
- Thirdly, ecology excites me too.
As a result, I found an interesting knitted handbag on the Internet. Not quite a string bag, but also very personal.
And I was sure that it would turn out cool, but nothing came of it at all. Oh, if I immediately drew attention to the size!
Picking up a little sketch, I sat down for knitting a circle.
The circle is knitted with simple double crochet. Instead of the usual starting circle for strapping, I made a circle for amigurumi.
According to the scheme there had to knit 8 rows. And I, by stupidity, did so much. She pulled in different directions and thought that the bottom of the day would come down.
In the end, she decided that the harness would stretch. Those. gradually will increase the number of columns in the rows and the pattern will expand smoothly.
I’ve never been so wrong before.
The harness, of course, looks very cool. Despite the fact that I chose the thread more for knitting under the string bag, it also looked good on such a pattern.
But she walked smoothly, not expanding. I had to figure out: how much will fit there? According to estimates - a bottle of vegetable oil and one butcher +/- some vegetables in small quantities.
In general, not an option. But I did not give up and knitted another row.
In general, string bags from this pattern did not come from the word "completely." A simple summer handbag - too. Well, a wallet, a comb, a bag (yes, the same one, a plastic one) will fit into this and there may be a perfume bottle.
Not practical, albeit beautiful.
Hoping for the best, I even ironed a sample, but again - to no avail. I had to give up this business.
But instead of dissolving completely, I dismissed the mating only to the bottom. And what? It can be tied up, made larger, and finally normally stringed.
In general, I do not give up. This is a science for the future, even if a miniature product is obtained.
