Such simple boyish fun as paper airplanes has been familiar to each of us since childhood. These fascinating activities have Japanese roots, because the work with paper figures is known throughout the world as decorative and applied art. origami.

Speaking specifically about aircraft, it is worth noting that with the development of military affairs and ways to create paper planes, there are much more. If earlier the simplest was the most popular way of creation, now it’s much more interesting for boys, guys and even men to make more complex models. In this article, we will consider various instructions, schematic photographs and videos that will help in creating paper planes of varying complexity.

Simple plane

There are several simple and quick ways to create the most ordinary-looking paper airplane. These diagrams and instructions will come in handy for beginners.

Method number 1

We take a rectangular sheet of paper. Its density for creating an airplane should be medium, since too soft or too dense a sheet can reduce the aerodynamic capabilities of a paper aircraft.

Fold the sheet in half to make a long rectangle, outline the fold well, and then expand it. Both upper corners need to be bent inward, along the central fold of the sheet. We turn the resulting arrow into the center of the sheet, as shown in photo 1. The result should be an envelope.
The corners of our envelope need to be bent inward along the center line, as on photo 2to make a triangular arrow again.
A small triangle has formed in the center of the arrow, which can be seen on figure 3. It needs to be bent up to fix the future wings of the aircraft from paper.
Again, we fold our arrow in half along the center line drawn at the beginning so that the small triangle remains outside the structure, as on 4 photos.
Alternately, you need to bend the wings to the base of the aircraft, first from one side, then from the other - according to the dashed line on fig. 5.
Now the wings need to be set at right angles, as on pictures 6. The result is a beautiful and uncomplicated paper airplane.

Method number 2

Another option for creating a “supersonic” paper airplane is also simple and straightforward.

We take a rectangular sheet of paper suitable for density, fold it in half until a long rectangle is obtained, as on first photo.
Now both upper corners are alternately bent towards themselves in the middle of the sheet until an arrow is received (2).
Next, according to the dashed line on photo 3, bend the corners inward to obtain a sharp triangle.
At this stage, you need to bend the future plane out of paper in half so that the corners are outside, as on figure 4. It is very important that the figure is symmetrical, and the fold lines repeat each other on both sides of the figure.
Bend the wings again to the outside according to the dashed line (5).
We bend the wings so that they are at right angles, according to photo 6. Another paper plane ready to fly!

Paper bomb

Here is such an interesting wide airplane you can create with your own hands using the instructions and schematic drawings.

We take a rectangular sheet, set it vertically in front of us and wrap one of the upper corners exactly along the opposite edge of the sheet so that the folded paper in the shape resembles the tip of a clerical knife. Well draw a line of fold and bend paper in its original position.
We repeat the same action for the other side: apply the corner to the opposite side of the sheet, so that it turns out that from both upper edges there is an X-shaped intersection, as shown by the red dashed line on figure 1.
Now the resulting X-shaped intersection needs to be bent in the middle so that the sheet is folded to get a fold, which is photo 1 Depicted in purple dotted.
After that, we fold both sharp corners into the structure so that on the visible side of the arrow we have, the paper is seamless, as on 2 photos.
In the final of the first stage, you need to bend in the center of the sheet, as shown in green on fig. one.
The remaining rectangle is bent in the middle parallel to the base of the triangle, as on second figurethen straighten the rectangle back.
Then you need to turn the future plane on the opposite, completely seamless side. We bend the upper corner so that it rests against the cross-shaped intersection of the folds on the rectangle, as on photo 3 and 4.
Again, turn the sheet to the other side. Bend up the two corners of our envelope to make “batman’s ears”, according to fifth photo.
Turn the sheet over again and bend the diseased triangle up (6).

Now we need to turn the work around and pay attention to the small triangular wings, which we previously called “ears”. They need to be bent as shown in fig. one.
We bend the main upper corner along the upper bend line inward and fold the paper plane in the middle (2).
Now bend the edges inside the structure, and as shown in figure 3, again we fold the figure in half, and then again on ourselves.
The result should be a paper airplane, reminiscent of air vehicles from films about space battles.

A paper plane that flies far

Some paper airplane models look as close as possible to real prototypes, and therefore have impressive aerodynamic capabilities. After mastering simpler ways to create an airplane, many want to make a paper flying machine that soars high and flies away over long distances. One of such aircraft can be this model, which is easy to do thanks to step-by-step instructions and schematic drawings.

We set a rectangular sheet of paper in front of us horizontally. Bend it in half along the long side until an elongated rectangle is obtained and press the fold line well, according to fig. one.
We open a sheet of paper and wrap in two right angles to make an arrow, as on photo 2.
Without turning the corners, we bend the paper into two more corners, according to the dotted line on fig. 3.
After that, we bend the main corner of the aircraft from paper so that it touches the nose of the opposite side, following fourth photograph. Do not forget to carefully press the fold line.
We flip the plane to the other side and make two angular folds, which should not be directed towards the center of the sheet, but only at a slight angle (5).
Now the corner formed in the center needs to be bent towards itself, following the dotted line on fig. 6. At the same time, you need to bend the main corner on the other side forward, so that the nose finally forms out of paper from the paper.

Bend up the wings of the resulting semblance of an airplane, following photo 7.
It is necessary to lower down the wings of the aircraft sticking upwards along the dotted line on fig. 8.
Now you need to bend the ends of the wings to the sides, and then straighten both wings at right angles (9). A paper plane that flies high and far can be used for its intended purpose.

Paper fighter

Here is such a simple fighter can be done in just a few minutes, if you use this instruction.
A rectangular sheet of paper folds in half along the long side (1).
The upper corners of the future plane bend to the center of the sheet, fig. 2.
Need to turn the job to the other side. We bend both side corners to the center, as on photo 3. Make sure that the upper corners do not bend, as in photo 4.
The upper part of the square needs to be diagonally curled onto itself - the same 4 drawing.
Fold the future plane in half so that the center line goes down (5).
We make a small fold on paper in the center of the rectangular part, according to pictures 6.

The triangle marked with a dashed line at this stage of operation is wrapped inside the aircraft (7).
We form the wings by bending them at an angle of 90 °, following the dashed line on fig. 8. The result is an unusual do-it-yourself paper airplane.
