Ingredients:
- For the test:
- Flour 200 grams
- Butter 140 grams
- Ground almonds 50 grams
- Chicken egg 1 piece
- Icing sugar 50 grams
- Salt pinch
- For filling:
- Cherry 600 grams
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1/3 teaspoon nutmeg
- Cinnamon 1/3 teaspoon
Cooking method:
Step 1. Dice cold butter into cubes and mix in the bowl of the icing sugar mixer.
Step 2 Add the egg to the lush mass and mix.
Step 3 Add ground almonds, flour and salt in portions. Knead until smooth.
Step 4 Wrap the finished almond dough in cling film and refrigerate (2 hours).
Step 5 Rinse the cherries, remove the seeds and mix in cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla sugar. If the cherry is sour, then add sugar or powder. Grease a mold with a diameter of 23 cm with oil, roll out the cooled dough, put into a mold, make a recess and cut off the edges. Put the prepared cherry on the dough.
Step 6Cut the strips from the rest of the dough and place them nicely on the cherry and the edges of the pie.
Step 7 Send the fragrant cherry pie into the preheated oven to 210 degrees for 15 minutes.
Step 8 Cool a delicious cherry pie, sprinkle with icing sugar and cut into portioned slices.
