Ingredients:
- For the test:
- Flour 300 grams
- Vegetable oil 30 ml.
- Water 200 ml.
- Salt 1/4 teaspoon
- For filling:
- 6 apples
- Lemon zest 1 piece
- Lemon juice 1 piece
- Sugar 3/4 cup
- Cinnamon 1 tsp
- Raisins 100 grams
Cooking method:
Step 1. Cook the dough. Mix all the ingredients together and knead the dough with your hands for several minutes.
Step 2Peel apples, cut into small cubes. Mix the ingredients for the apple filling, let stand until the dough is ready. Drain the juice before using the filling for the dough.
Step 3 The dough should stand for an hour. Sprinkle flour on the work surface, divide the dough into 2 parts and roll out thin cakes.
Step 4 Stretch the dough thinly with your hands.
Step 5 Pour sugar mixed with cinnamon onto the dough and smooth over the entire surface. Then put the apple filling.
Step 6Lubricate the edges of the dough with melted butter without filling.
Step 7 Carefully fold the strudel with the filling inside; for convenience, use a towel or parchment on which the strudel is to be laid out before (before adding the filling).
Step 8 Transfer the strudel onto a baking sheet covered with parchment.
Step 9 Put the roll in the oven and bake for an hour and a half at a temperature of 170 degrees or until golden brown. Sprinkle the finished strudel with powdered sugar.
