- Vanilla sugar 0.5 tsp
- Apples 3 pieces
- Frozen cherries 100 grams
Cooking method:
Step 1. Cut the apples into small slices, put in a bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice. Rinse the cherries, remove the seeds. If desired, the cherry can be sprinkled with sugar.
Step 2 Separate the proteins from the yolks and place them in separate clean and always dry bowls. Beat the whites and a half sugar to steady peaks first. Add the sugar mixed with vanilla sugar to the yolks and beat until lightened and increase in volume.
Step 3 Then add the sifted flour to the yolks in 3-4 steps and mix with a spoon or spatula.
Step 4 Now send the whipped proteins into the dough and mix the mass. It should turn out a beautiful uniform dough.
Step 5Cover the baking dish (diameter 26 cm) with parchment. Lay apple slices and cherries in an even layer on the bottom.
Step 6 Pour the dough on top. Send to the oven, preheated to t 170 degrees, for 25 minutes.
Step 7 Check the readiness of the cake with a wooden skewer or match. If the match remains dry, then the cake is ready.
Step 8 Cool the finished cake a little. Then, with a dessert knife, walk along the edge of the mold so that the pie can be easily removed. Turn the pie on a plate so that the fruit filling is on top and the dough is on the bottom. Sprinkle the cake on top with icing sugar and garnish with a sprig of mint.
