Ingredients:
- Hake (cod, pollock) 900 grams
- Flour 2 tbsp. spoons
- 2 carrots
- Onion 2 pieces
- Tomato juice 250 ml.
- Bay leaf 1-2 pieces
- Salt, black pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil 30 ml.
Cooking method:
Step 1. Cut the fish into slices of 3-4 cm. Width, put them in a deep container, salt and leave to soak for 30 minutes.
Step 2 Finely chop the onion.
Step 3 Grate the carrots.
Step 4 In a frying pan in vegetable oil, brown the onions, add carrots.
Step 5 Fry vegetables until soft and golden. Pour in tomato juice, add spices and bay leaves. Stew the marinade for 10 minutes.
Step 6 Fry the salted hake from all sides, before this roll the fish in flour. When the fish pieces become golden, shift evenly into another pan.
Step 7 Pour the marinade over the fish. Simmer on low heat, so the fish is soaked in vegetable juice, which in turn will give a wonderful aroma of fried hake to the whole dish.
Bon Appetit!
