Ingredients:
- For the test:
- Flour 300 grams
- Sugar 100 grams
- Butter 200 grams
- Sour cream 75 grams
- Chicken egg 1 piece
- Baking powder 1 teaspoon
- Salt 1 tsp
- For filling:
- Plum 750 grams
- Sugar 50 grams
- Starch 20 grams
- Ground cinnamon 1 tsp
- Ground clove 1/8 teaspoon
- Lemon 0.5 pieces
Cooking method:
Step 1. Cut cold butter into cubes and leave on the table for 7-8 minutes. Mix the flour in a bowl with baking powder, sugar, salt and add cubes of butter. Grate the butter and flour to form small crumbs.
Step 2 Add the yolk, sour cream to the crumbs and knead the non-sticky dough.
Step 3 Divide the dough into 2 equal parts, wrap it with foil and let it cool for at least 30 minutes (preferably 1 hour).
Step 4 Cut the seedless plums into slices and mix in a bowl with sugar, cinnamon, cloves, starch and grated zest half of the lemon so that the plum is saturated with all the flavors.
Step 5 Roll one half of the chilled dough a little larger in shape (form 28x18, dough 32x22) and put into a baking sheet. Send to the refrigerator.
Step 6 Roll out the second half to the size of the first half and cut into 1 cm strips.
Step 7 Remove the baking tray with the dough and put the prepared aromatic plum on top.
Step 8 Put strips of dough on the filling in the form of a grid.
Step 9 Bake a flavored cake in the oven at 200 degrees 35 minutes, then cool completely and serve (if desired, hot plum cake can be sprinkled with powdered sugar).
