Ingredients:

- Flour 2.5 cups
- Sugar 2 tbsp. spoons
- Salt 1 tsp
- Butter 250 grams
- Water 7-8 tbsp. spoons
- Chicken egg 1 piece
- Milk 1 tbsp. a spoon
- For filling:
- Apples 8 pieces
- Sugar 100 grams
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp. a spoon
- Flour 3 tbsp. spoons
- Cinnamon 1 tsp
- Vanilla extract 1 tsp
Cooking method:
Step 1. Slice cold and hard butter and put in a bowl, add flour, sugar, salt. Mix well and rub the butter with the ingredients into your hands until the pieces of butter are as large as lentils.
Step 2 Add ice water, mix until the dough is wet and form a ball. Send the prepared dough into a bag and leave for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Step 3 Cut clean apples in half, remove the core and cut into large slices.
Step 4 Put the prepared apples in a bowl, add lemon juice, sugar, flour, vanilla extract, cinnamon and mix well. Next, divide the dough in half, immediately remove one half in the refrigerator. Roll half of the dough into a circle about 30 cm in diameter, put in a greased mold (23 cm in diameter) and form the sides. Put in the refrigerator.
Step 5 Roll out the second part in a circle about 28 cm in diameter. In a bowl, beat the egg yolk and milk with a fork.
Step 6 Put the prepared apple filling in the form with the dough.
Step 7 Cover the filling with dough. Fix tightly around the edges, make five cuts and cool the raw cake in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Then grease the prepared egg mixture.
Step 8 Send a beautiful cake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 180 degrees and bake another 40-50 minutes until a crispy golden brown crust.
Step 9 Cool the fragrant apple pie, cut and serve.
