Ingredients:
For the test:
- Wheat flour 300 grams
- Baking powder 1 tbsp. a spoon
- Sugar 100 grams
- Butter 175 grams
- Chicken egg 1 piece
- Egg yolk 1 piece
- Ground cinnamon 1 tsp
- Pinch of salt
For filling:
- Apples (sour) 1-1.5 kg.
- Sugar 50 grams
- Raisins 70 grams
- Cinnamon 3 tsp
Cooking method:
Step 1. Mix the softened butter, sugar, cinnamon, egg, salt. Add flour, baking powder and mix well. Knead the dough to make it soft.
Step 2 Divide the dough into 2 parts (larger and smaller). Roll out a large part with a rolling pin, periodically sprinkle dough and a rolling pin with flour, preventing sticking. Gently place the dough in a copiously oiled form. The second option is to roll out the dough on baking paper, transfer it into a mold and knead it right in the mold.
Step 3 Preheat the oven to t 180 degrees. Peel the apples from the core and cut into slices. Mix with sugar, cinnamon, raisins. Put in the form on the dough.
Step 4 Roll out the remaining 1/4 of the dough and cut into thin strips. Put the strips on top of the cake so that they intersect at an angle, forming rhombuses.
Step 5 Put the cake in a preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes. Bake until golden brown. 10 minutes before cooking grease the cake with egg yolk (dilute the yolk with 1 tbsp.spoon of water).
Bon Appetit!
