Ingredients:
- For the test:
- Chicken egg 1 piece
- Curd 250 grams
- Butter 150 grams
- Flour 250 grams
- Baking powder 1 teaspoon
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Salt 0.5 tsp
- For filling:
- Mozzarella (or any other cheese) 150 grams
- Garlic 1-3 cloves
- Sour cream 1 tbsp. a spoon
- Thyme (leaves) handful
- For lubrication:
- Chicken egg 1 piece
- Salt pinch
- For sprinkling:
- Sesame seeds handful
Cooking method:
Step 1.Mix the cottage cheese with butter, add the egg, mix.
Step 2 Mix flour with baking powder, salt and sugar, add to the mass of cottage cheese, butter and eggs. Knead the dough. It should turn out plastic and not very cool.
Step 3 Prepare the filling: grate the cheese on a coarse grater, chop the garlic. Combine cheese, minced garlic, sour cream and thyme.
Step 4 Divide the dough into two parts, one slightly larger than the other. Roll each part into a ball. On a table sprinkled with flour, roll each ball into a circle (larger and smaller diameter), ~ 5-8 mm thick. Put a smaller circle on a baking sheet covered with baking paper, grease the edges with water and spread the cheese filling over the entire area. Cover the second round.
Step 5 Bend the edges of the upper circle under the lower circle. Grease the cake with egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown at t 180 degrees.
Step 10 Cover the baked cake with a towel and cool slightly.
