Ingredients:
- Minced meat 600 grams
- Onion 2 pieces
- Carrot 1 piece
- Rice 1 cup
- Tomato paste 2 tbsp. spoons
- Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. spoons
- Chicken egg 1 piece
- Sour cream 3 tbsp. spoons
- Bay leaf 2 leaves
- Salt, pepper to taste
Cooking method:
Step 1. Peel and chop the onion into small cubes. Peel and grate carrots.
Step 2 Boil rice until half cooked, cool. Then mix the minced meat, rice and egg. Salt, pepper to taste.
Step 3 Form round meatballs from prepared minced meat with rice.
Step 4 Roll meatballs in flour on all sides.
Step 5 Pour vegetable oil into a heated pan, put meatballs and fry on all sides until golden brown.
Step 6 Next, put onions and carrots in a pan. Cover, reduce heat.
Step 7 The process of preparing the sauce: pour water (2 cups) into a deep container, add tomato paste, sour cream. Stir thoroughly until smooth.
Step 8 When the onion becomes soft, add the cooked sauce to a slightly golden color. Cover the pan and simmer the meatballs for about 30 minutes.
