Ingredients:
- Cucumbers 4 kg.
- Garlic 2 heads
- Dry mustard 2 tbsp. spoons
- Salt 5 tbsp. spoons
- Sugar 8 tbsp. spoons
- Ground black pepper 1 tbsp. a spoon
- Vegetable oil 200 ml.
- Vinegar 9% 200 ml.
Cooking method:
Step 1. Wash the cucumbers, cut off the tails. Cut lengthwise into 4 parts, as shown in the photo.
Step 2 Put the prepared cucumbers in an enameled bowl, add mustard, salt, sugar, pepper, vegetable oil, vinegar. Chop the garlic cloves finely.
Step 3 Mix everything and leave to marinate for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally. Cucumbers will emit juice, which together with spices will turn into a fragrant pickle. Then after 3 hours the pickle will completely cover the cucumbers.
Step 4 Then get the slices of cucumbers from the brine and place them as densely as possible in sterilized jars, pour brine. It will be slightly cloudy because the mustard has time to dissolve. Sterilize jars with cucumbers in a water bath for 15 minutes, then roll up the lids tightly.
Step 5 Turn the hot jars with their lids down and wrap them with a blanket until they cool completely. Store in a cool place.
