Why honey from a nomad apiary is trusted more than from a stationary

About why beekeepers roam, I wrote last time. Therefore, today I will talk about the nuances of choosing a place for an apiary.

A stationary apiary is usually located in a garden or in a summer cottage. An amateur beekeeper does not transport her anywhere.

The beekeeper knows in advance when and on which melliferous plants he will place his apiary. The determination of the schedule for moving all summer begins already in spring.

To plant a nomad apiary, the beekeeper needs:
⠀ ✅ consent of the owner of the land;
⠀ ✅ if it is a forest, then permission from the forester;
⠀ ✅ passport apiary;
⠀ ✅ help that the bees are healthy;
⠀ ✅ Veterinary permission to migrate.

This is another fact that distinguishes a nomadic beekeeper from a stationary one, because the latter does not have to have the entire list of these documents.

He rarely or never ever gives the bees to death for analysis, so if the bees have caught some sore, such a beekeeper either does not know about it, or finds out at the very last moment when it is too late to heal, and the bees die.

The nomadic apiary belongs to the beekeeper, a professional who changes location to provide a honey conveyor.

Professional beekeepers, as a rule, hand in honey in bulk, and for this he must pass an appropriate examination, which in turn is a guarantee that real honey does not contain sugar and antibiotics.

Such laboratory analysis is quite expensive, so stationary beekeepers either do not do it at all, or very rarely.

From all that I wrote, it may seem that real honey is only among nomadic beekeepers. Of course, this is not so!

If a stationary beekeeper takes his business seriously, does not save on necessary tests, does not treat bees during honey collection, then he will receive honey even from one bee colony, but such honey will definitely be real and useful.

Before you buy honey, ask where and how it was collected. This will help to understand how high quality a product is offered to you.

Be healthy and eat honey.
