Why do bees die? The beekeeper answers

You have probably heard about the death of bee families all over the world. So who is to blame?

From the TV we are told stories about a certain “collapse of bee families”. In other words: the bees die, but from what is still unknown.

I will surprise you, but everything has long been known. It is partly mite Varroawith which beekeepers fight as best they can, but so far the advantage is not always on the side of man.

But this is not the main problem. Most of all, a hand to the death of bees was made by the owners of crops that treat their fields with insecticides, pesticides and neonicatinides (a variety of pesticides).

An interesting situation turns out: on the one hand, agronomists attract beekeepers, ask them to transport their bees to blooming fields (after all, it is known that the presence of pollinating insects increases the productivity of crops they plant by dozens and even hundreds of times), and on the other hand, treating the fields with neonicatinides, they kill bees!

Bees with their pollination significantly increase the yield of the field, and thereby increase the income of the owner of this field.

Agree paradoxical situation turns out. Imagine that there is a certain person who periodically brings home money to you, and in return requires absolutely nothing. And you, instead of grooming and cherishing this person, slowly kill him.

And with this example I do not exaggerate, the depth of the problem is much more serious than I wrote it.

So what can a person do to maintain this precarious balance?

Beekeepers, for their part, are trying to increase the number of bee colonies. I would advise other people (which are the majority) not to buy vegetables and fruits that have been treated with harmful pesticides. It’s better to overpay a little, to buy a natural, environmentally friendly product, thereby lowering the profitability of unscrupulous manufacturers.

At the legislative level in Europe, appropriate measures are already being taken. They completely refused to treat harmful fields with harmful pesticides. I hope other countries will follow suit.

Saving a life, such an insignificant insect as a bee, in fact, a person saves a life for himself, his children and grandchildren.

Be healthy and consume only high-quality foods!
