How to avoid bee stings, or why they do not sting beekeepers

Earlier, I talked about why a bee dies after stinging. Now let's see why a bee stings.

So, I’ll clarify right away: she does this only in those cases when she protects her family.

Sting - This is an extreme measure, which the bee resorts to, because you do not think that they tend to release the sting more quickly in order to die.

You need to understand that the beekeeper, the bee is not a friend!

It is impossible to tame a bee like a dog or a cat. Therefore, when they say: “the beekeeper’s bees do not sting, because they feel the owner,” do not believe it, since this is not entirely true.

The fact is that the beekeeper knows certain rules that must be observed in order to reduce the number of these beekeeping to a minimum.

These rules are pretty simple:

  • large pile clothing should be avoided;
  • the beekeeper should not feel sharp odors, such as alcohol, tobacco, perfume or sweat;
  • also bees do not like sudden movements, waved hands and other fuss.

Now think about what you were wearing, how you smelled, and how you behaved when the bee stung.

I’m sure it smelled of you with my hands and arms and perfumes, and a can of beer could well be in my hands. But for bees, this is all unacceptable and seems dangerous.

If a bee stung you while you were far from the hive, this is most likely due to the fact that you went on her flight.

If there are no special obstacles in the form of bushes and trees, the bees fly to the honey harvest low enough above the ground, not higher than human height.

Let me remind you that bee venom is very useful, so if you do not have allergies to it, then rare bee removal, you will only benefit. Do not panic!
