I already wrote that many factors can lead to the death of bees, and the main one is insufficient knowledge of the beekeeper.

But it happens that the bees begin to die not because of their unpreparedness for wintering or because of the cultivation of fields that the beekeeper did not know about. Often the blame for all the various diseases and untimely actions of the beekeeper to eliminate them.

With serious illnesses like sack brood, American or european foulbroodThe beekeeper is rarely encountered.

These are infectious diseases that are difficult to treat.

In case of sack brood, I can advise triple processing with an interval of 5 days tincture of celandine.

The preparation is simple: you need to take 100 g of celandine and pour two liters of hot water. After complete cooling, the family is processed through a dewdrop.

You should spray not only the frames with the bees, but also the walls of the hull, the arrival board, pillow and the inside of the lid.

If you encounter serious illnesses such as American or European foulbrood, the first thing to do is to take the family away from the main point.

Such a family should be quarantined until completely cured.

As a medicine, tetracycline and a double transplant for wax are used. Affected frames burn!

In addition, the beekeeper may encounter a disease such asascospherosis. This is a fungal disease that is treated by replacing the uterus in the family.

And, of course, the most important disease is mite varroa

Preventive treatments from which, we need to carry out throughout the year. The exception is, only the period of active honey collection.

Of the preparations for treatment, I can recommend acids, oxalic or formic, as well as a drug such as bipin, where the active substance is amitrase.

This is perhaps the main thing I wanted to say on this topic. Watch your bees and remember that no one except you will take care of them.
