Ingredients:

  • Butter 140 grams
  • Sugar 100 grams
  • Chicken egg 1 piece
  • Egg yolk 1 piece
  • Vanilla sugar 1 tsp
  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Jam 300-350 grams

Cooking method:

Step 1. Beat butter at room temperature with sugar using a mixer or combine. From pure lemon, grate the zest, add to the dough, send the egg, yolk, vanilla sugar, salt, baking powder there and gradually introduce the sifted flour. Knead the dough. Wrap the dough with cling film and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 2 Turn on the oven to heat up to t 180 degrees. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and cool to room temperature. Then split into two parts.

Step 3 Roll out one part of the dough, “pancake” should get a little more than the bottom of the form in which the cake will be baked. In a greased form put a layer of dough, press with a spoon to the walls.

Step 4 Put and distribute jam in the form on the dough.

Step 5 Roll out the second half of the dough. Cut the dough into strips of the same thickness.

Step 6 Strip strips crosswise over jam jam.

Step 7 Bake jam pie in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Cool the finished cake to room temperature. Sprinkle with powdered sugar (optional).
