Ingredients:
- For the test:
- Butter 100 grams
- Egg yolk 1 piece
- Flour 1.5 cups
- Sugar 2 tbsp. spoons
- Sour cream 1 tbsp. a spoon
- 2 tsp baking powder
- Vanilla sugar 0.5 tsp
- Breadcrumbs 3 tbsp. spoons
- For filling:
- Pumpkin peeled 400 grams
- Apples 2 pieces
- Butter 1 tbsp. a spoon
- Ground ginger 0.5 tsp
- Nutmeg 0.5 tsp
- Ground cinnamon 1 tsp
Cooking method:
Step 1. In a prepared container, combine flour, sugar and butter. Grind to the state of bread crumbs.
Step 2 Add the egg and sour cream.
Step 3 Knead the dough well. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for 1-1.5 hours.
Step 4 Thinly cut the pumpkin.
Step 5Melt the butter in a pan and add sugar.
Step 6 Warm the sugar in a pan over low heat while stirring continuously for 5-6 minutes. (If during warming the sugar crumpled into clots, do not remove it from the pan, when the pumpkin is added, these pieces will melt).
Step 7 Put the pumpkin and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 8 Cut apples into thin slices.
Step 9 Add apples to the pumpkin pan and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Then add all the spices and mix gently.
Step 10 Divide the dough into two parts (one part should be larger than the other).
Step 11 Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Roll out most of the dough into a thin layer and place in a prepared baking dish so that the bottom and sides are closed.
Step 12 Put the cooled stuffing into the form and smooth.
Step 13 Roll out the second half of the dough, cut into thin strips and put on top of the pie in the form of a net.
Step 14Beat the protein with 1 tablespoon of sugar in a thick foam.
Step 15 Lubricate the cake with the prepared protein and put in the oven already preheated to t 200 degrees.
Step 16 Bake the cake for 45-50 minutes.
