To emphasize or hide areas of the body, it is necessary to take into account a number of important fundamentals when choosing clothes. Colors, styles and patterns can attract people's eyes to specific parts of the figure or, conversely, distract.
I will share with you some of the basics for creating a fashionable wardrobe for donuts, which I use myself.
- Dark colors hide, while light colors stand out.
Example: To draw attention to your waist, put on a light belt over a darker shirt. And to distract from lower body, put on dark trousers and a brightly colored top.
- Larger patterns tend to enlarge, while smaller ones can visually reduce volumes.
Example: Avoid huge floral prints on clothing in favor of smaller patterns.
Sometimes there are exceptions to this rule. Try on an outfit if in doubt. A large font can really look good in a general outfit. A small, though busy part may not look as good as the same, but larger.
- Use caution with horizontal stripes. They tend to add volume.
Strips are generally suitable for large clothing if they are diagonal or vertical. And do not believe it, if now everyone says that horizontal stripes, on the contrary, are suitable for dumplings. They look only on certain parts of the body, and not as a print for all clothing.
Example: if you want to visually increase the bust, then select the top with horizontal stripes that will attract attention to the chest line.
Balanced options look good on curvy girls, for example: a shirt with horizontal lines or color blocks and plain trousers / jeans.
Also a fashionable alternative to stripes is a cage, especially asymmetric, or small peas.
- Avoid frills. Ruffles and large shuttlecocks can be located exclusively in those areas that you want to emphasize.
Example: if you want to emphasize your bust, a frill can be attractive. Ruffles also always look good on cuffs.
- Wear torn or gathered fabric in the areas you want to reduce.
For example, you can choose a one-piece swimsuit with ruffles on the stomach.
- Determine which colors look good on you.
The right color of clothing can make your skin tone shine, and the wrong one can make it pale.
- And the last, but perhaps the most important rule ...
Contrast is good, but not in underwear!
For chubby girls, it is especially important that the linen does not get out of the general image and does not shine through the clothes. So give preference to neutral beige or black linen (in the case when you wear dark).
Here is a striking example of how you should not dress:
