You've probably heard a lot about the lists of “Essentials in Every Woman’s Wardrobe,” but did you know that the dumplings have their own secret mustache list? We figure out what things are simply necessary if you have a couple (or not a couple) of extra pounds!
Dark jeans
What for? Dark to mid-range jeans look best on lush figures. Lighter shades tend to highlight irregularities, so it’s best to choose deeper, more uniform shades.
What to search: forget about the trends! No need to rush on jeans just because this model is in trend. You should choose denim with a slight tension (stretch), since it will keep its shape longer. If you are attracted by jewelry such as fading, scuffs, creases, and cuts, remember their location: they will highlight this area of your body.
And do not forget to “customize” jeans for yourself! I almost constantly encounter this problem due to low growth. Therefore, I always ask you to fit in the workshop to the right size.
White dress shirt
What for? A white dress shirt is both a chic and professional option for a work jacket and attractive when unzipped a little lower, especially when paired with a silk scarf or a bright necklace and jeans for the weekend.
What to look for: The quality of the fabric is very important. Choose something strong with a little stretch - the fabric should not only breathe, but also move with the body when you do something.
Special Occasion Dress
What for? Because every woman should have a smart suit that makes her feel unique and delightful.
What to look for: unusual cocktail dress, not a classic. I call it my “fancy” dress because it always looks good and makes me feel amazing. The dress should not only fit the figure, but also have some va-va-voom details: glitter, sparkles, unusual trim or decorative neckline.
Do not confuse the special with the fashion: avoid fading, for example, neon yellow, otherwise you will soon have to look for a replacement.
Pencil skirt or A-line
What for? When it comes to skirts, experts agree that these two silhouettes (pencil and A) are the most flattering.
What to look for: if excess weight is especially prominent in the lower part of the body (hips, buttocks), then a simple A-line skirt that slides smoothly over the hips and then comfortably lowers just below the knee or to the middle of the calf will balance the silhouette and create an hourglass outline. For a heavier middle section, choose a not-too-narrow pencil skirt, starting from the natural waist and to the knee (or slightly lower), which should be worn with a blouse, preferably silk.
Costume
What for? The suit has the ability to create a shape, define the waist, lengthen the body and minimize the hips.True, the concept of a “suit” has weakened over the years, so consider the possibility of unusual separate models that can be worn together or combined with other things. For example, trousers plus a shiny top for a date. Moreover, sooner or later, a reason to wear a suit will certainly appear, whether it is a meeting with a new boss or a visit to school.
What to search: maximum versatility. It is best to choose a classic jacket with straight floors and one button, and the color is better to choose black, dark blue, brown or gray. When buying a costume, maximize your budget to appreciate the small details that add sparkle and durability. I always check the quality of workmanship: the lining or its absence, reinforced edges, stitches, even trim on buttons and buttons.
Tunic
What for? Tunics are great for clear lines of the upper body and provide a kind of "cover" around the priests and hips. Especially true for overweight girls in the lower body or with an orange peel.
What to look for: To focus on your face, think of a V-shaped or embellished neckline. The length of the tunic also matters. Make sure that the hem at the back does not hang lower, otherwise it will not look very attractive. Fabrics with a light stretch will help prevent unpleasant situations (for example, they definitely will not burst if you try to sit down).
A new kind of hem “shark bite” (an inverted deep scoop that is longer on the sides and shorter in the middle) and frills can cover certain flaws and add peppercorns to the image.
Shapewear
What for? Shapewear is a must-have! And even regardless of weight. And why not: they pull together, minimize lumps and bumps, create a smooth base for clothes and give the perfect look to the figure. As our bodies change over the course of a month, there may be a good variety of sizes in the arsenal of corrective clothing. Feeling uncomfortable should not be the price you pay to look good.
What to look for: this is not my mother’s belt. Modern versions of corrective underwear come in almost every conceivable style. This means that you can choose the one that meets your specific needs. For example, high-waisted cycling shorts that start right under the bra and end just above the knees are especially popular among those who want to control volumes from above and from below. Look for seamless, lightweight designs that combine spandex and nylon.
Before buying, remember one common truth: always try on fashionable clothes before buying them! You need things that make it easy to sit, walk and breathe normally. Shopping for a special event? Take your outfit with you to try on and determine which underwear is best!
