I want to note right away that I will not analyze in the article the need to lose weight. I agree with this, and it is really necessary. After I lost 21 kg, the heaviness in my legs gradually disappeared.

First - excess weight. I mentioned it before. Extra pounds put pressure on the joints, and over time it becomes hard to walk.

Second - immobility. When we move a little, the legs swell in the evening and become heavy. Each step becomes a test.

Third - skinny jeans or trousers (close-fitting). I did not immediately understand why my legs were so swollen and sore. And I loved walking in skinny jeans.

In this article I will not analyze other problems of evening severity in the legs, which are associated with internal problems of the body. In this case, you should consult a doctor.

How to get rid of evening heaviness in the legs

So, I will tell you only the ways that I myself tested on myself and they helped me. And you already choose the method that will help you and which you trust.

1. Pouring ankles in cold water

Sometimes women do nothing with this delicate problem, because it seems to them that everything is complicated.

But, when you get home, lower your feet into the bathtub and pour cold water on them for about 5 seconds each (you can put your feet under the shower).

Do not pour over your feet for more than 5 minutes, so as not to catch a feminine cold.

2. Drive throughout the day

This is especially true for those who have sedentary work.

Get up every hour and move at least 2-3 minutes.

Under the table, also make circular movements with your feet.

3. Evening exercises (plus I recommend doing them in the morning)

Twist the toe of each leg first clockwise, then counterclockwise.

After that, stretch yourself. In the same lying position, raise your hands behind your head. Reach simultaneously with the toe of one leg towards you, the toe of the other away from you. Hands stretch the body further.

After completing this exercise, you can also douse your feet, first with cold water (5 seconds), then hot. Finish pouring cold.

4. Check your diet, some foods retain water in the body

For example, I have this cottage cheese. If I eat it, then everything, excess puffiness of the face and heavy legs in the evening are provided.

You may be affected by other products in the same way. And reducing them in our diet, we will help ourselves get rid of puffiness.

I also tried eat more fruits and vegetables. The fiber they contain is good removes excess fluid from the body and generally cleanses the body.

Try to eat a minimum of 1-2 salads per day and a couple of fruits.

5. I drank teas: herbal, rosehip, green + coffee

These drinks are a wonderful natural diuretic that does not harm your health. You will feel lightness in the body, excess swelling and heaviness in the legs will gradually be released.

6. And of course, self-massage

If there is nobody to massage your tired legs, do yourself a massage.

Wash your feet well, apply a little oil and massage your feet and ankle upward towards the heart.
