I believe that the right habits should be instilled in childhood. And the sooner, the better and easier it will be for the child to adapt in adulthood.

Eating habits are the same foundation as hygiene. Therefore, they decided to switch to a healthy diet quickly.

My husband and I are not vegetarians and do not adhere to any particular type of food. Therefore, it was decided to simply switch to healthy and healthy food.

But there was a problem. How to feed my daughter?

First I had to go to the doctor (pediatrician). They passed all the necessary tests, the organs were checked, fortunately, everything is in order with her daughter’s health. So with a calm mind, you can proceed to the transition to a new type of food.

We explain everything to the child - it is necessary

Think it's easy? In fact, this is not so. The daughter, accustomed to other foods and the fact that she constantly has a choice in dishes, first protested, and very much.

The first thing that the daughter did was to completely refuse to eat wholesome food, she was not happy with a large number of vegetables, fruits and cereals. Even soups refused to eat already purely from the principle.

Then I realized that I needed to discuss everything with my daughter. I told you how useful such nutrition is, what will become of the body, I even showed an approximate menu. And then she invited her to participate in the selection of dishes and the preparation of a menu for every day.

And it worked! Now, for her daughter, choosing healthy food is a game.

Moreover, she actively helps me in the kitchen, according to her abilities, of course. Refusals of food stopped, because she herself chose everything!

Harm of night snacks and why you need to close the refrigerator

Our second problem when switching to a healthy diet is nighttime snacks. This habit appeared because I never make my daughter eat if she doesn't want to.

And when the child wants to eat in the evening, the appetite of both her husband and I immediately turns on. So we sit under cover of night with the whole family near the refrigerator. This is not a healthy habit at all.

How to deal with this?

In general, we have just begun the fight against the night "dozhor". Sometimes successful, sometimes not very. The main thing to come up with is a lock with a timer on the refrigerator.

We teach our daughter that it is better to eat normally in the evening, and at night we always leave fruits freely available.

How to motivate yourself and your family?

Mom in such cases has to be an example. If the husband is not interested in healthy lifestyle, then it remains to motivate everyone and show the positive impact of a healthy diet. Moreover, the husband, of course, is not enthusiastic about the new diet, but agreed to try.

What is important in switching to a healthy diet:

  • Introduce new products gradually and gradually remove harmful ones, gradually reducing their portions;
  • Adhere to a positive outlook. If you fail to switch to a new diet, it’s not scary, then you will try again;
  • Try to spend more time with family and in the fresh air to distract and strengthen immunity;
  • Take vitamins. But! Only those that have been agreed with the doctor;
  • Schedule meals and foods.

In general, it is from the attitude of the mother to the new diet that his child's perception depends.

Naturally, if the mother gnaws another carrot through force and is bent at the same time, the child will not even want to try the vegetable.

The main thing in switching to a healthy diet is to ask yourself the right setting. And to understand that it is impossible to do this in one day. We are moving smoothly towards our cherished goal, and so far we have managed to come to terms with many familiar dishes.

But I already noticed that my health and appearance have improved!

And for the child, another plus is the lack of more sugar and fried food contribute to better learning and mental development!
