It is important for each child for harmonious development to touch the world around him, to feel it and to perceive it correctly. To begin to develop perception should be from infancy, and this can be done through games.
At home, you can come up with a lot of activities that will allow the child to develop. However, parents do not always choose something really fascinating and at the same time moralizing for the baby.
I offer you two unusual and interesting games for the smallest.
Box with secrets
First, we’ll start developing the baby’s touch. The Box with Secrets game will help us with this. First you need to prepare and create all the necessary conditions for the child to play. You will need:
- Shoe box;
If you don’t have such boxes, you can replace them with a regular bag, in a pinch, use a pillowcase, but the box will be the best option. Also remember that using a different framework, you need to rename the game, for example, “Bag with secrets”
- A flap of fabric (choose a soft and non-translucent fabric) the size is slightly larger with the base of the box;
- Sewing gum or glue, preferably heat-resistant;
- Scissors;
- Small and medium details, toys, figures of different shapes.
At the bottom of the box, lower the toys, cover the top with a cloth, and secure the edges with glue or rubber. Then make two neat cuts on the two sides of the fabric. Box with secrets is ready.
Invite the baby to lower his hand into the slot, take something with his hands and describe or guess what exactly he took. This will help to develop imagination and correctly correlate ideas about a thing with its real description.
Action cube
This game will teach the baby to recognize emotions and actions, it also perfectly develops the motor skills of the child, helps to improve the motor apparatus, and is very funny!
Take:
- Styrofoam or foam, the size of a small cube;
- Colored paper or multi-colored felt;
- Scissors and thermal glue.
The foam should be glued on all sides with paper or felt. You will get a multi-colored cube, each side of which is of different colors.
Then, on paper of the same shade, write the words: emotions, actions, sounds, letters, numbers, body parts. One category for each color of the cube. On the other hand, an impromptu card should indicate a specific task.
For example: action - to circle around yourself twice; emotion - show sadness; sounds - how a cat communicates; body part - show the left leg, and so on.
When everything is ready, invite the baby to roll the die. Then the color that falls out (appears at the top), let him find among the cards. You read the task from the back, and the baby must complete it.
It is best if you repeat the actions with the child. This will not only help him, but also strengthen the relationship.
Do not forget that it is very important to reinforce each child’s action with positive emotion. You can verbally praise, pat him.It is important for children to show that they have successfully completed the task, and a positive reaction will help consolidate the result.
If you still have questions or have any unusual ideas regarding these games, feel free to write and we will discuss them!
