Create the illusion of mom’s presence
This is one of the simplest methods to calm a child. It is especially relevant when you only teach your baby to sleep separately, and until then the child has always been under maternal supervision nearby.
What is needed for this?
- Take a rubber glove or an unnecessary clean pillowcase / diaper;
- Remove the rice and heat in the microwave;
- Pour warm rice into the glove for volume; secure the open end with a simple rubber band. If you use a diaper, sprinkle rice in such a way as to make a sausage, roll it into a roller and hook it with rubber bands too.
A glove or roller should be placed in the crib near the baby.
It is best to use a glove, as it will remind the child of the mother's hand and touch.
Therefore, place it as close as possible to the baby or even put it on a barrel.
Special pillow bed
Babies are sometimes uncomfortable and unusual to move from a maternal comfortable bed to a special bed.
Therefore, to begin with, in order to teach your baby to sleep on his own and make the laying process simple and quick, you need to cook special lounger.
Sew together 3-4 pillows, naturally over the edges of the pillowcases.
So simple! The child will be comfortable and soft, and the volume of the pillows will allow you to feel more secure. Thus, the baby will fall asleep much faster.
Soothe with smells
This idea can be safely used 2 weeks after the birth of the baby! You can also implement it in 2 ways:
- Using aromatic oils;
- Using natural ingredients.
All that is needed is a bag of hypoallergenic tissue, preferably cotton. Instead of a bag, you can use your favorite baby toy! And then you can start filling.
We fill the bag with dried flowers of plants: lavender, chamomile, rose petals.
To use aromatic oils you need to fill a bag with cotton, after dropping on it 1-2 drops of each oil.
Children from one month old can also inhale other oils: bergamot, sandalwood, fennel.
