Kids really love to touch everything. Even if the hands are in paint, glue or plasticine. Especially if in paint or plasticine. And I really hoped that we would not have to face such a nuisance as clay in our hair. But not fate.
This happened by accident when we had a different married couple with a child. The children played quietly, and then my daughter came up to me to boast of her new thing - a flower in her hair.
The flower, of course, was a mold of plasticine.
Here the most interesting thing began: searches on the Internet, calls to familiar mothers, discussion with the grandmother. All the tips were different from each other, but the most common was - cut hair.
Daughter - in tears, we have a panic. We decided to try the methods that my friends advised. And what we just did not try!
Removing with ice and vegetable oil - had no effect.
Vegetable oil supposedly softens plasticine, but in reality it only made the hair dirtier, and plasticine was smeared in locks.
Attempts to comb out plasticine with a small brush did not help either. Pulling it with the help of woolen fabric was also unsuccessful.
In such cases, the comb cannot be used - the child will be hurt.
Everything had to be done manually and tried to get out of plasticine one hair at a time. But he was only more smeared over the entire length.
So they sat, playing with hair, until a friend remembered her hairdresser and called for advice.
As a result, she advised a really worthwhile method!
- First, we had to rinse off the oil to remove excess fat;
- We left the hair to dry a little, slightly dabbed it with paper towels;
- They took out the largest pieces of plasticine from the hair;
- It was necessary to choose some kind of degreaser, the choice fell on micellar water to remove makeup;
- Put water on the hair, rubbed the place of application;
- Then, cautiously, they began to pull hair out of plasticine;
- After that, comb your hair well and wash your hair with a hair rinse.
Plasticine is gone! Absolutely, even the stickiness is gone. I took this method on a note and I advise you too)
By the way, in addition to micellar water, you can take anything that helps to degrease hair. Even an alcoholic solution or dishwashing detergent.
Honestly, I was afraid that a similar method of degreasing could ruin the daughter’s fine hair structure, but nothing happened) In any case, the daughter now plays only with homemade clay.
Have you encountered a similar problem? What method of cleaning hair from plasticine was the most effective?
