The morning of February 3 began with sad news: at the age of 35, the famous Russian rapper died, whose songs in zero came from every radio receiver - Kiril Tolmatsky (Decl).
Kirill spoke in Izhevsk, and then went to the dressing room, where he became ill. Cardiac arrest ... Attempts by doctors to resuscitate the performer did not help and his father first reported the sad news: "Cyril is no more," - he wrote on his Facebook page.
One of the first to react to the news of the death of the performer was Sergei Shnurov, posting a verse on the net:
Music knows every rhythm
And blowing dust off the records
Decel's party at home,
People gathered for a wake.
The district and the whole school pulled up.
Someone turned on again and again,
For myself, not for the protocol, “My tears, my sadness.”
How much truth is in these lines, - fans of Decl's creativity supported Sergey, and simply not indifferent people.
Of course, most admirers, and gossip, were interested in how Timati (Timur Yunusov) would react to such sad news. Later, a post dedicated to Cyril appeared on the artist’s page. He posted a joint photo and wrote:
What our relations were and why, is not so important. History decreed that in 99g we found ourselves in some role as pioneers of this genre. I still hardly believe how it all happened then, and to what extent it has grown today. You are definitely a big part of this story. Rest in peace.
Most fans of Cyril's work found the text too pathetic. Every second comment under the post that Decl is the pioneer of Russian hip-hop, and Timur should admit it at least now.
Vasily Vakulenko (Basta) according to fans was much more sincere, writing:
Cyril Tolmatsky did not. I express my deepest condolences to his family and friends. Regardless of our conflict and disagreement, I sincerely wish that the young leave so early and inopportune. This is a great misfortune. Bright memory.
Publications with condolences and memories appeared in almost every Russian artist. And in each post, thanks for childhood with good music, admiration for creativity and talent. But our attention was attracted by the post of Glucose, which not only expressed condolences, but shamed the Russian rappers, calling them hypocritical.
So hypocritical, of course, our society.
Suddenly, all the rappers remembered that they had grown up on Decl. And while he was near, he was not needed, and few of you said these words in person.

The singer, by the way, was supported by hundreds of people, including Ksenia Borodina and Sergey Lazarev.
I don’t want to figure out who is right and how to react to such news. But the truth is, the question arises: why so long ago no one expressed admiration for this artist?
