A trip to the bathhouse is a classic Russian tradition. And even though in the modern world the choice is more often made in favor of the sauna, bath art and customs and rituals associated with it still live. A special place among them is occupied by conspiracies in the bathhouse.
What to read conspiracies in the bath?
In ancient Slavic culture, a bathhouse is not just a room for the adoption of water and thermal procedures. It was considered by the ancestors as something like a sanctuary, because it was here that weddings were held, births were taken and the deceased were funeral. A special combination of the energy of water and flame made the bath a sacred object. Not surprisingly, a huge number of conspiracies were carried out in the steam room. The most famous of them have survived to this day - this:
- To the love of the spouse or his return;
- On a successful marriage;
- At the conception of a baby;
- On well-being and good luck.
In love, husband’s return
Going with the object of your romantic dreams to a bathhouse or a sauna is already an excellent prologue in itself to create a suitable love mood. If you want the relationship to enter a new phase and end in marriage, you should use a special conspiracy. It is read in complete seclusion, only you should be in the steam room. Wash the body, apply honey on it and say it out loud:
“Look how sweet and fragrant I am. As bees love this honey, so you love me! ”
This is a simplified version of the plot. If you have enough time, do a full ritual. It is necessary to collect the inventory defined in composition, namely:
- Honey (about 300 ml);
- Apple (one piece);
- A sheet of white paper;
- Pink petals;
- A piece of black cloth;
- Pink satin ribbon;
- Knife with a wooden handle.

- Draw the name of a lover on paper with charcoal, drawing in his thoughts his image;
- Cut the apple in half, put a piece of paper on which the name is written between the halves;
- Tie the apple with a satin ribbon so that the halves hold;
- Put the fetus in a basin and pour water there;
- After 30 minutes, you can pour water from the basin.
After the “wet” part of the ritual, put honey on the body and say:
“Look how sweet and fragrant I am. As bees flock to honey, so you fly to me! ”
Wash the body, pour fresh water into the basin and put the flower petals there. Looking into your reflection, whisper:
“Marvel at how beautiful I am. As bees love this honey, so you love me! ”
After completing the ritual, hide the tied apple where others cannot find it. Say the words:
“Just as a bulk apple dries without light and sun, you too can dry without me. Key-lock. ”
The knife with which the apple was cut is buried under a tree. Everything that was used for the ceremony is thrown out. If the plot is done correctly, the result will not be long in coming. Magic also works if the ceremony was carried out to return the loved one or spouse.

Bathing the bride before the wedding is an old Russian conspiracy held in the bathhouse. Ancestors believed that it helps to preserve the purity of the girl and protect her from the evil eye in life in marriage. In some villages, a village buffoon was to watch the ablution; he also acted as a bathhouse attendant. While hunting the bride with a broom, he sentenced:
“Just as on a broom from a birch tree the leaves remain and do not fall, so the (spouse’s name) spouse will never leave, will not go on a walk!”
After the plot, drops of sweat from the bride's body were wiped with raw fish, which was then served to the groom in a fried state. It was believed that this would tie the young together. In other places it was decided to take voditsa, in which the virgin was washed, to pour the bridegroom and his relatives at the wedding in order to achieve greater favor on their part. A special conspiracy was made at the celebration itself, which sounded like this:
“Hands on, and it's time for the bathhouse.” Bail, advice and love to the young! ”
At the same time, they gave advice:
“Wife, honor your husband as your ancestors. Husband, take care of your wife, like a pipe in a bathhouse! ”
To consolidate the power of the ceremony, the mother-in-law baked bread, nicknamed the “banner”, which was handed to the young people upon leaving the bathhouse, where they steamed on the second day after the wedding.
Conducting such a conspiracy these days is quite problematic, given the current mentality. But if you and your chosen one adhere to the same views and do not consider yourself snobs, you can try.
Wealth and fortune

To transfer your biggest dream to higher powers for consideration is necessary at the new moon. The presence of a spouse or young man is optionalbut you can’t do without a best friend. Any woman in whose goodwill you have no doubt can also play her role. In the bath room you have to step with one foot into the basin (look, do not slip!). Pour over a bucket or ask a friend to pour water on you while you sentence such words:
“Like water from the slave of God (your name) rolls in a stream, flows down, so let the barrenness roll down, pour out, perish away. I trample the earth with my feet, wash my body with my hands. As a month grows in heaven, so may the servant of God (name) conceive. May it be so! Amen!"
The plot must be read three times, then overshadowed by a sign of the cross. Dry yourself with a piece of clean, natural cloth and put on new clothes (preferably white). Drain the water from the basin into a container, take it home. Upon returning home, pray and go to bed.

The mentioned conspiracy refers more to the pagan faith: the official church refers to similar rituals held on Maundy Thursday, negatively.
